NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former wanted suspect is behind bars after he was charged with murder.

Prosecutors say 60-year-old Godfrey Saunders is responsible for the July 22 murder of Tacomier Virgill.

She was found stabbed to death on Palm Breeze.

Saunders, whose street name is Gully Bop, didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied. He returns to court on February 27, 2025 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
