Former Wanted Suspect Charged With Raping Mexican Woman
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former wanted suspect is behinds bars on rape and armed robbery charges.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former wanted suspect is behinds bars on rape and armed robbery charges.
Prosecutors allege that 26-year-old Shannon Rolle raped and robbed a Mexican woman last month.
He’s accused of robbing the woman of $200 while armed with a knife. He also allegedly raped the woman at the same time.
The offenses allegedly took place between January 27 and 28.
Rolle didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Magistrate Raquel Whyms.
He was denied bail and the matter was adjourned until May 22 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
