From Pitch To Plaque: Our News’ Commitment To Veterans Continues

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – You’ve probably seen some of our British Legion Bahamas Branch stories, but now we’re bringing you some of the behind the scenes work that went into taking the series from pitch to plaque.

Our News received a plaque of appreciation from the British Legion Bahamas Branch this week, and Executive Producer of Our Tv, Jerome Sawyer shared the series’ origin story.

When the series was greenlit, there was one person in particular who immediately took interest in the stories, Our News weekend producer, Tanya Smith-Cartwright.

Many of the remembrance season stories found their home in our news weekend broadcasts, often edited by Anthony Black.

Smith-Cartwright tells us what made her feel so connected to the series.
