NASSAU, BAHAMAS – You’ve probably noticed a big red bus when you’re driving on Shirley Street.

The owner is a lawyer by day, restauranteur by night, going from the courtroom to the kitchen.

Owner and proprietor of 2 Storeys Catering, Keevon Maynard, says he’s always wanted to venture out into the more unconventional and exciting, leading to the birth of his restaurant a year ago.

Maynard’s unique restaurant concept was inspired by his travels and his time living abroad.

2 Storeys Catering offers a quaint dining experience, from outdoor seating adorned with native bougainvillea to the big red bus in the room.

Maynard says guests are always excited to enjoy the unique setting.

While 2 Storey provides a picturesque daytime experience, Maynard says the true charm is at night.

For Maynard, every day in the restaurant business is a learning experience.
