NASSAU, BAHAMAS – She is one of the recent recipients of the order of merit this past National Heroes Day. Khandi Gibson the Director of Families of All Murder Victims was recognized for her philanthropic efforts in the community, and while she says her passion for helping others is what keeps her going, she admits that she cannot do it alone.

Khandi Gibson has been working in the community for the past ten years. She formed FOAM, Families of All Murder Victims – after two of her brothers were murdered just eight months apart and since then she says her ministry has expanded tremendously, assisting those from various walks of life.

Gibson says since her ministry is not governmentally funded, she uses the power of social media to get her message out and seek donations.

She says although she’s been able to help many families, there are much more people in need of assistance.

And, that is why she needs your help. Those willing to assist FOAM can contact Gibson at 603-4141 or 424-8953.
