NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The sale of Grand Lucayan resort is not yet complete. The closing date has been pushed to November. Well, this week we spoke with an attorney on Grand Bahama who also sat on the Lucayan Renewal Holdings Ltd. board Carey Leonard.

That board is the special purpose vehicle that was created to oversee the sale and to manage the resort’s operations. Now, Leonard says he believes the hotel’s success is dependent on the re-development of Grand Bahama International Airport.
