NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Grand Bahama Children’s Home had their own special Christmas this year, as the faculty worked tirelessly to make sure their children would have a good Christmas.

While 8 of the 23 children would be at the home for the holidays, June Hutcheson, the home’s Executive Director, tells us some kids were placed in foster homes for Christmas.

But Hutcheson promised the kids who couldn’t be placed would still have a fulfilling Christmas.

At the time of our interview, gifts were still pouring in from the public.

While eight kids couldn’t be placed with Christmas fosters this year, Hutcheson invites the support of Grand Bahamians who are willing and able to make themselves available to open their home to a child next Christmas.
