FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA – A small donation can go a long way to help a child in need, according to a Grand Bahama children’s home, as it launches a new initiative.

It’s often a daily struggle keeping doors open and children clothed and fed, but this is the reality of many of the country’s children’s’ homes.

There are consistant needs and never enough money.

The Grand Bahama Children’s Home is a good example.

Executive Director June Hutchenson and her team look after 32 kids in spite of a $400,000 shortfall.
