GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Government is preparing to re-develop the Grand Bahama International Airport.

Earlier this year Deputy Prime Minster Chester Cooper said that ground would be broken for the new airport in the first quarter of 2023.

Our news speaking exclusively with the Minister of Grand Bahama recently and she said plans are well underway.

On Tuesday an official ground-breaking ceremony will be held for the new Freeport Health Campus at the Greenfield site off of East Sunrise Highway.
