LONG ISLAND, BAHAMAS – The conditions of roads in Long Island taking center stage today, as the area’s MP decried the state of the roads.

His comments came at a ceremony to officially rename Queens Highway to the Joseph B. Carroll Highway.

However, Works Minister Alfred Sears says there’s a current road works improvement project underway which he says is about 60% complete.

But that isn’t the only thing on tap for road improvement on the island.
