BERLIN – Two people were injured and hospitalized after an aquarium at the luxury hotel in Berlin exploded Friday.

Around 100 emergency responders rushed to the inner city leisure complex which housed around 1,500 exotic fish.

The Aquadom Aquarium, was an eye-catching feature in a luxury complex that houses a Radisson Hotel, a museum, shops, and restaurants.

It was also the world’s largest freestanding cylindrical aquarium at 46 feet high.

Emergency services shut down a major road due to the large volume of water coming out of the building.
