NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Officials from the Department of Social Services now moving to assist Biminites with housing after a fire in that community last week.

Twelve people were left homeless after the early morning blaze on Sunday.

Prime Minister Philip Davis led a delegation which included Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville and Social Services Minister and area MP Obie Wilchcombe.

Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Clint Watson adds that more is still to come this week for those residents, adding that an assessment will follow.
