GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Last week in Grand Bahama, one voice stole the show – Wannessa Hanna, a native of the island, turning the National Training Agency’s graduation into something unforgettable.

The now viral moment was caught on camera by Our News Grand Bahama cameraman Dave Mackey, getting nearly 40 thousand reactions.

With many praising the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas student, whose double majoring in psychology and music.

Hanna says she’s been singing since age three, and by all accounts has perfected her craft.

At last week’s National Training Agency graduation in Grand Bahama, the college student brought emotion and elegance to the stage, reminding everyone why she’s destined for greatness.

She shares what her motivation was that helped to deliver a passionate performance.

“My first thought was wow God, I see your design in all of it, like overall I see God’s plan in it. Intention, how intentional he was in everything.”

“Like I mentioned to my family members…[what] if I didn’t sing that song. Cause before singing the song I was trying to figure out oh I don’t [know] what song, I don’t even know if I want to sing and everything…but he placed that specific song on my heart and everything that day.”

Then after that unforgettable performance, the internet lit up.

Viewers praised her talent, calling her a star, urging her to audition for America’s Got Talent, and celebrating the originality that made her rendition truly her own.

Hanna sharing that the support she received is confirmation of her calling, and her faith will guide her as she continues to inspire others through music.

“The love and support that I have always gotten from friends and family now the community, is really showing that anything is possible especially when you put God first and everything.’

“I know that he has a plan for my life and I know it is through music, and that’s why I’m putting so much into it because I know that God has a plan for me to uplift and inspire others through my talent and through my gift.”
