GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Hundreds of Grand Bahamians and lovers of culture packed the bleachers on Pioneers Way Saturday night as 19 schools put on a spectacular show for the Anthony Huck Williams Junior Junkanoo Parade.

From the adorable preschoolers to the energetic high schoolers – 19 schools across Grand Bahama brought Pioneer’s Way alive for the parade

Spectacular costuming, in-sync choreography and rhythmic music all on display by the various schools. Acting Director of Culture, “Fast Eddie” Dames, says he’s sure the judges will have a tough time deciding a winner.

Member of Parliament for East Grand Bahama, Kwasi Thompson also taking in the sights and sounds of the parade. Meantime, Minister of Education, Glenys Hanna-Martin impressed with the level of talent on display.

These spectators also enjoyed the display of culture by the next generation of junkanooers.

There were even some royals out – Jack Hayward senior and Ms. St. Georges top model.
