Grand Bahama’s Artlucaya 2025 Dubbed a Huge Success

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Mosaic Art Hub, the vibrant new home of Art Lucaya and the Grand Bahama Artists Association, proudly displaying the work of Bahamian artists recently as this year’s celebration of art kicked off.

Ambassador and celebrity artist, Jamaal Rolle, highly impressed with the work displayed, saying he believes Grand Bahama is the epicenter of an artistic renaissance in The Bahamas.

But, on the flip side, interdisciplinary artist, Lavar Munroe, says he sees more potential for growth and creativity.

The interdisciplinary artist works predominantly in painting and sculptures but says this year’s exhibition was “Painting heavy”.

The artist has been living abroad for over 21 years and his work focuses on his travel around the world.

Munroe says he believes a lot of art is based off intention and shared this insight
