GRENADA – Grenada Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell has led the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to a historic second consecutive election victory, securing 14 of the country’s 15 parliamentary seats, according to provisional results.

The victory marks the first time in the NDC’s history that it has won back-to-back general elections.

Under Mitchell’s leadership, it won nine seats in 2022 before expanding its parliamentary majority in this latest election.

The opposition, New National Party (NNP), secured the remaining seat, with Dr. Adrian Joseph retaining St. George North West.
