Guards Charged with Pushing Tourists Down Stairs

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two security guards accused of pushing an American couple down the stairs of a nightclub in Harbour Island have been charged.

Jordan Brown, 31, and Nathan Saunders, 45, are accused of causing grievous harm to Pieter Munnik and Amber Munnik.

The charge stems from an incident at Daddy D’s Nightclub on August 3.

Brown and Saunders pleaded not guilty at their arraignment before Acting Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain.

The accused were each granted $5,000 bail.

They return to court on October 27 for trial.
