NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dr. Antoine and Reverend Judy St. Louis have been involved in the Haitian community for decades. And with demolition set for the Kool Acres and All Saints Way Shantytowns on Monday they give their take.

Dr. St. Louis says he has presented a comprehensive  plan to previous administrations. He says the plan outlines how to remove these communities over a long-term period as opposed to once every few years.

The couple also places blame at the feet of landowners who collect rent from those shantytown residents.

While ready to assist come Monday, they say there is only so much the church can do.
