GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Christmas may be over but some people are still out and about shopping. The Our News team had an opportunity to speak with local artisans in the Port Lucaya Marketplace in Grand Bahama recently who say they’ve seen more customers than usual this holiday season.
The owner of Moore’s Jewelry Designs, Sophia Moore says this holiday season, sales went up for her business and it appears as if locals are shopping at home.
Miss D’s sells handmade straw bags, hats, dolls and more. Owner Tia Beckford says she too has seen positive results this holiday season.
