Health Minister Responds to Overcrowding at A&E

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Michael Darville has admitted that there is a situation at Princess Margaret Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. 

The admission comes after Bahamas Nurses Union President Amancha Williams revealed there is no space to keep patients. 

Darville told the Tribune newspaper that 41 patients were waiting in A&E.

Dr. Darvlle also revealed there was a backlog, but he says it was sorted out.
