Heavy Thanksgiving Traffic Builds Up In Los Angeles

UNITES STATES OF AMERICA – Thanksgiving travel is in full swing tonight, with Los Angeles seeing one of the heaviest highway rushes in the country.

Drone video shows traffic crawling along the 405, as millions hit the road on what’s typically the busiest travel day in the U.S.

This year’s holiday comes just weeks after the record-long government shutdown, pushing many Americans to drive rather than fly over fears of possible flight disruptions.

Still, airlines say they’re expecting record passenger numbers as last-minute bookings pick up.
