HG Christie Supports Inaugural Bahamas Real Estate Exchange Event

Nassau, Bahamas—HG Christie is proud to sponsor the inaugural Bahamas Real Estate Exchange (BRX) event. The event aims to bring together industry partners for healthy discourse and to foster solutions for improving service to real estate buyers and sellers. 

The exchange, scheduled for September 28 at Blossom Hall at Goldwynn Resort and Residences, will be a half-day event where industry leaders will take part in panel discussions and networking opportunities, according to BRX Founder and HG Christie Estate Agent Daren Seymour. 

“It’s a visionary event originated from my desire to facilitate networking and an exchange of knowledge within the industry,” Seymour said as he explained his reason for the launch of BRX. 

“The objective is to really bring all the players together, the industry partners for healthy discourse and really foster solutions and give better real estate services. One of the main objectives is to really get these players together in one place to discuss how we can provide the best services for our clients.”

While the event is not necessarily targeted to realtors, Seymour said BRX is centered around “buyers and sellers” with realtors being a part of the network. 

“We’re looking to address current market realities, enhance networking, promote listings and to hear from industry participants,” Seymour added. 

The event will be a groundbreaking initiative in The Bahamas, featuring consultation booths for financial advice, representatives of the Bahamas Contractors Association on hand, and a real estate desk offering exciting listings and information. Topics to be addressed include prequalification, strategic real estate selling, industry standards, and other relevant subjects.

Panelists and speakers include representatives from CIBC Caribbean, Scotia Bank Bahamas, Villa Nova and Goldwynn Residences, Bahamas Contractors Association, Department of Inland Revenue, Palm Cay, Senator Darron S. Pickstock, a partner at Glinton Sweeting O’Brien and HG Christie Managing Broker John Christie.
