NASSAU , BAHAMAS – Best recognized for chart-topping tracks such as “Back That Thang Up,” “Slow Motion,” “Ha,” and “400 Degreez,” the multi-platinum rapper, Juvenile, has built a career spanning more than three decades.

In the coming days, Juvenile will visit The Bahamas for the very first time, not only to enjoy the beauty of New Providence with his family, but also to perform at Baha Mar’s Jazz Club — a significant milestone in both his career and the local entertainment scene.

“It’s gone be crazy. I’m glad to be there for the experience, but I’m telling you they’re going to find out that even though it’s been that long they going to find out that I’ve got a lot of energy and I take what I do, my job, very seriously and entertaining means a whole lot to me. So all I need from everyone that shows up at the show is just to give me that energy. I want that great energy.”

His performances are scheduled for June 24th and 25th and will feature the 400 Band.

During our conversation, I asked what fans could expect from his set list.

“I change my set list accordingly, so I don’t know.”

“So right now we can expect the unexpected?”

“I won’t tell you what’s on my set list.”

“That’s right, expect the unexpected.”

While he kept the details under wraps, Juvenile did confirm that one of my favorite songs from his catalog will make the cut.

“I’m saving it all for the show. You get nothing without coming to the show. Trust me, it’s a live set. I don’t rap over my words. I do straight live sets, so you got to be at the show. And I got you, and you will hear ‘Rodeo.'”
