NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The President of The Bahamas Contractors Association is questioning how many Bahamians are employed at the British Colonial Hotel amid allegations foreign nationals were employed at the site.

Leonard Sands says from his observation, he hasn’t seen any.

This isn’t the first time the ratio of local to foreign labour at The Pointe has been brought into question.

Sands believes this is another instance of foreigners being placed over Bahamians.

Additionally, he says government doesn’t understand the large population that relies heavily on the industry for employment.
