FLORIDA, USA – Back to school can be challenging for both school children and parents but it’s perhaps college students that face the biggest hurdles, especially those studying abroad.

18-year-old Hope Smith is a Junior at St. Leo University in Florida.

And as the fall semester begins hope shares the things college students have to deal with and of course these things don’t come cheap. Hope says excelling academically in high school can help offset the costs.

In addition to on-campus work, hope holds several positions, serving in student government, various clubs, associations, dance teams, and committees. Something, she says keeps her honest and focused.
