CARIBBEAN – The International Monetary Fund forecasting steady economic growth in the Caribbean this year at around 2.4%.

Aside from Guyana and Haiti, the IMF said recently the region has bounced back robustly from the pandemic.

While tourism-dependent economies are stabilizing as visitor numbers return to pre-pandemic levels, the IMF say commodity-exporting nations are thriving thanks to strong non-energy performance and supportive policies.

Lower global commodity prices and easing supply chain issues are said to be keeping inflation in check.tr
