Increase in Minimum Wage Process Going Smoothly
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Come January 1, 2023, both the public and private sectors will receive an increase in minimum wage.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Come January 1, 2023, both the public and private sectors will receive an increase in minimum wage.
The $50 increase will push the weekly payout from $210 to $260.
Labour Minister, Keith Bell says from all indications that process is going very smoothly.
As the government is looking to move toward a livable wage, Bell says they’re hoping to get input from members of the public.
