Detention Center Upgrades to Cost Millions
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Upgrades to the Detention Centre will cost government up to seven figures and a new medical facility soon to be commissioned.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Upgrades to the Detention Centre will cost government up to seven figures. The minister responsible confirming as much today, as he says a new medical facility will also soon be commissioned.
The Detention Center will soon receive major upgrades according to Immigration Minister Keith Bell.
As for the cost of those upgrades?
Bell says irregular migrants from Haiti make up the majority of those currently being housed in the Detention Centre.
