ISRAEL – Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said in a video statement Monday that Iran would face consequences for its unprecedented weekend attack on Israel.

Amid calls for restraint from allies, the location and date of his video statement couldn’t be independently verified. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened his war cabinet to discuss a response to Iran’s direct attack.
