ISRAEL – The head of Israeli Military Intelligence, Major General Aharon Haliva, has submitted his resignation, pending the appointment of a successor, according to a statement released by the military on Monday.

Last year, Haliva acknowledged responsibility for intelligence lapses that led to a Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7th.
