Jamaican Man Arraigned for 2021 Murder

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A Jamaican man has been arraigned in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court for a murder that took place two years ago.

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A man has been arraigned in the Freeport Magistrate’s Court for a murder that took place two years ago.

Police believe 24-year-old Rick Crosby of Jamaica is responsible for the murder of Omar Penn back on February 21st, 2021.

Penn, also known as “Punch”, was gunned down in front of a well-known plaza next to the Boulevard Gas Station in Freeport.

Crosby appeared before Magistrate Laquay Laing and was not required to enter a plea to the charge.

He has been remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections until August 8th.
