NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the new school year approaches, Janaees Uniform Center is giving back to the community during one of its busiest seasons.

The long-standing local store is hosting a block party and coupon giveaway this Friday, providing students with clean, new uniforms just in time for classes.

The store is offering a 20% blowout sale as part of the event, complete with a block party featuring a bouncing castle, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, juice, water, and hourly coupon giveaways for lucky customers.

“Wow, the bouncing castle, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, juice, water, you name it. In addition to all that, we’ll be giving away coupons every hour to our special customers.”

Wallace says parents have been coming in droves, noting that the recent VAT holiday has been a big help. She also emphasizes that the effort extends beyond sales, supporting local churches and community groups with bags and supplies.

“We’re still giving out bags to organizations like Centerville Adventist Church, Great Commission, and some others. It’s all part of our effort to help those in need.”

Parents like Maurice say that providing proper school supplies helps children succeed.

With just a few days left before school opens, Wallace says supplies are moving fast.
