MIAMIA, FLORIDA, USA – Jazz Chisholm had his best game of the young MLB season on Saturday night, logging a three-hit, two-RBI game to help his Marlins beat the Chicago Cubs 7-6.

Jazz had two singles and a double, driving in 2 RBI to help his team get the edge on the Northsiders.

The Marlins ended the fourth inning with a 7-2 lead but the Cubs staged a furious comeback bid, coming within two runs in the 8th thanks to an RBI groundout to second base by Nico Hoerner. Tanner Scott put an end to that in the 9th however. He got the save while striking out 2.

The Marlins will have another go at the Cubs on Sunday at high noon.

Hopefully, Jazz can continue making contact.
