He was mired in a hitting slump before hurting his foot running into a wall which put him on the shelf for over a month.
His comeback is imminent as it was announced on Tuesday that he was assigned to the Marlins’ Triple-A affiliate in Jacksonville to get rehab reps.
Jazz was hitting .229 with seven home runs and 14 steals before the injury.
Meanwhile, Donovan “Jay” Rolle is the organizer of 5K the Jay Way, a road race happening this Saturday.
But this is more than a simple fun run.
This is the sixth edition of this event.
Proceeds raised will aid the reach foundation and there will also be a shoe drive.
