NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the divide widens between two factions of the Valley Boys, The Junkanoo Corporation Of New Providence is standing by its decision to place two factions of the valley boys in different categories.

Trevor Davis’ Way Forward Valley Boys, which broke off from the Valley Boys was placed in the F Category. While Brian Adderley’s World Famous Valley Boys is in the A category.

At Norfolk House last night, top officials from the JCNP along with President of The Bar Association Kahlil Parker gave an update.

JCNP Chairman Dion Miller says they saw it fit to clear the air once and for all amidst public commentary and what they describe as personal attacks.

But can both factions show up to the starting line of the A category come Boxing Day?

The Rules Chairman telling me that the number-drawing process prevents that.

The Way Forward Committee, released this statement saying they plan to take the matter to the supreme court, claiming the World-Famous Valley Boys must change their name.

Brian Adderley was present at last night’s meeting but he declined to speak to reporters. Speaking on behalf of the group was Frontline Director John Williams.
