Jeff Rodgers: It’s Not Just Basketball, We Teach Character Building and Life Skills

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s the middle of the summer, and school is out, so that means a lot of parents are looking for something fun for their kids that will also help to mold their character skills.

A great example of this would be the Jeff Rodgers Basketball Camp, a staple in the sports community.

Going on 38 years now, Rodgers is excited for another year of camp.

Every year the camp experience affords the kids an opportunity to meet some of the biggest international names in the sports world.

Meanwhile, as you learn basketball skills like dribbling, shooting, and passing, you learn life skills as well.

“The camp is all about character building, we don’t focus just on the basic fundamentals of basketball. We talk about life skills. We know for sure that basketball only gonna carry you so far through life.”

“You could make a career where you play in the NBA or play in Europe or playing central or South America. There’s more opportunity, but the main focus is to help them to understand what it takes to become a good citizen. “

The camp runs July 27th to the 31st, 2PM to 5PM, and then on August 3rd to 8th from 9AM to 2PM
