MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA – International Women’s Day was truly spectacular, as hundreds of women turned out for the Women’s Impact luncheon at the Hard Rock Casino. 

It’s all a part of the Jazz in The Gardens Music Festival. 

Well, the Our News team spoke with several attendees who shared why it was important for them to be a part of the mega event.

The empowering event is a celebration of female leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

Sisters Nicole and Terry-Ann Porter say they believe when women come together they make a positive impact.

Several women from the city of Miami were also honored. Mayor of Miami Gardens Rodney Harris says women are God’s gift to the world.
