JJ, Liberty Advance to the WNBA Finals
CONNECTICUT, USA – Jonquel Jones led the New York Liberty to an 87-84 win over the Connecticut Sun to go to the WNBA Finals.

JJ went to work scoring 25 points, including a clutch three-pointer and some timely free throws to help the libs get the win. She also got active inside, grabbing 15 boards and blocking four shots to help her team get the win.
Breanna Stewart led the Liberty with 27 points, adding nine rebounds. Betnijah Laney added 21.
UB Country Cross Meet
Hundreds of athletes turned up to the second annual University of The Bahamas Cross Country meet over the weekend.
Women’s open 3k champ Lakeicia Lewis talked about her winning performance.
Raymond winder showed some toughness to take home the title on the men’s side.
Youth Baseball
Jazz Chisholm’s Little League played its first games over the weekend at the Baillou Hills Baseball and Softball Complex.
Over 200 enthusiastic young athletes from ages 4 to 14 played in fun and highly competitive games and they were given free equipment and uniforms.
The league will continue at Baillou Hills on weekends until December.
