NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Men’s Basketball Team Player Kai Jones told the media, despite the loss to Venezuela Thursday night, he played the “best game” of his entire life.

Kai led all scorers with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Buddy Hield was the next highest scorer with 19 points.

This was Jones’ first time playing on the senior men’s basketball team for The Bahamas.

He played at the junior level as well.

Following the 86-81 loss to Venezuela, Jones said that the team just has to stay focused, himself included, and continue to execute plays.

The Bahamas will next go on to face Argentina on Monday, August 29 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers tournament.
