UNITED STATES – Dozens of reporters walked out of the Pentagon Wednesday turning in their badges rather than sign new rules limiting what they can report.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a former Fox News host now requires journalists to get his approval before publishing information.

The White House backed the move, with President Donald Trump calling the press “very disruptive.”

News outlets across the spectrum rejected the policy saying they’ll keep covering the military, even from outside the building.
