NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has again denied a request to order the removal of an ankle bracelet from a prison officer on bail for conspiracy to commit murder.

Shante Taylor is free on $20,000 bail after she was accused of plotting with others to kill Elvardo Thompson, who was gunned down as he sat in a truck in front of Taylor’s home in Pinecrest Subdivision on July 20.

But Taylor claims that wearing the bracelet will interfere with her enrolment in a medical assistant program while she’s suspended from duty.

Taylor’s lawyers sought to remove the tracking device on the same grounds last month.
