NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A court has ordered the return of over $80,000 to a businessman.

Authorities seized $80,250 from Gregory Miller, the president of Apex Underground Utilities, after they alleged he failed to declare that he was traveling with over $10,000.

A magistrate discharged the case against Miller and ordered the return of the funds after a customs and border protection officer failed to testify in the case.

However, that order was put on hold after prosecutors filed an appeal against the magistrate’s decision.

But the appeal was withdrawn, clearing the way for return of the money.
