NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Some new faces are about to take the supreme court bench with the announcement of five new justices. 

A press statement from the Judicial and Legal Services commission confirming the names forwarded to Governor General Sir C.A. Smith. 

Gregory Moss, Simone Fitzcharles, Carla Card-Stubbs, Franklyn Williams KC and Hope Strachan.

They are expected to fill positions following the retirement of Senior Justice Estelle Gray-Evans, Justice Ruth Bowe-Darville and Former Chief Justice Sir Brian Moree.

As for the appointments the commission says it also took into account the pending retirements of Justice Dianne Stewart and Senior Justice Indra Charles who are both set to demit office in April.
