NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We are just weeks away from the Boxing Day Junkanoo Parade and while all of the major groups are preparing for the big showdown on Bay, one of the smaller groups is placing a spotlight on the differently abled.

Earlier this year, The Chosen Ones, the trailblazers for inclusion fun group, was formed giving those differently abled people an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Public Relations Officer Tyrone Johnson says he’s no stranger to Junkanoo and has been rushing since the age of 8.

He says this year there are 50 people participating.

Committee member Shyan Chipman says he too is no stranger to Bay.

Committee member Rosemary Munnings says with only a few weeks left she’s looking forward to the publics support.
