LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – D’Shawn Knowles has become a fan favorite for the Sioux City Explorers and continues to lead the club in their chase for the AAPB pennant.

He hit two home runs and drove in five RBIs to lead the X’s to a 7-2 win over the Lincoln Saltdogs in the series opener.

In his second year with the club, Knowles is hitting .261 with 18 RBIs and 5 stolen bases.

Sioux City now sits atop the West Division at 48-26 with just 26 games remaining in the regular season, but with only a three-game lead over second-place Sioux Falls Canaries.

Lenox Lockhart’s Successful Year in Karting

Lenox Lockhart continues to reach new milestones on the American karting circuit. He was named the vice champion of the Superkarts USA Pro Tour. At the final rounds of the series at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana, Lockhart had a pair of podium finishes to lock in second overall in the championship standings.

His successful 2025 campaign also included his first major title at the SKUSA Pro Tour WinterNationals in Texas and the Stars Championship Series title at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Lockhart currently races for Team Sodi of Velocity Racing.
