Learn To Swim Program Underway At GB YMCA
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A swimming committee in Grand Bahama has raised funds to start a learn to swim program free of charge at the YMCA.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Learning how to swim is an essential tool and a swimming committee in Grand Bahama has raised funds to start a learn to swim program free of charge at the YMCA.
The program funded by the Bernie Butler Open Water Swim Committee. Committee member Andrea Thompson speaks about the program’s importance.
Coach Eva is the head coach for competitive swimming at the YMCA. She gives a general overview of the program and what is taught.
The program runs three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
