Disney Cruise Line announcing that pending approvals, officials hope to begin construction on the project in Eleuthera by the end of the year in an effort to open in the first quarter of 2024. The Environmental Impact Assessment had been a bone of contention for local environmentalists. However according to Disney’s Vice President of Public Affairs Kim Prunty, the project is now moving into the environmental management planning stage.
