GRAND BAHAMA , BAHAMAS – We continue Denielle Miller’s coverage of the 9th Annual Love and Harmony Cruise.

Thursday night, she brought you commentary from passengers—also known as harmonizers—on why they look forward to the cruise every year.

Now she is speaking to a few familiar faces on why they’ve returned to perform on the cruise.

Denielle Miller – demiller@cablebahamas.com

“2026 marks the 9th year anniversary of the Love & Harmony Cruise, and passengers—also known as harmonizers—are not the only ones who continue to return year after year. So does the talent.”

More than two thousand people are currently on board the annual Love & Harmony Cruise, including some first-time harmonizers.

The vast majority are returning harmonizers, including artists like Beres Hammond.

However, they are not the only recurring faces. For the last four years, DJs from local radio station House 100 Jamz have joined the cruise.

Veteran harmonizer DJ Spuddy told me curating an environment for the unique heritage of the islands to flourish is what keeps him coming back.

“I just love the vibes—playing reggae music, playing R&B, playing my cultural music, rake n’ scrape. So, you know, it’s like seeing all the cultures together—it’s different.”

Disc jockey Only Tunez agrees.

He explained that this is his second time on board, and the cruise allows him to act as an ambassador.

“I’m taking full advantage of it. I really see myself way beyond our waters, but I’m not straying from the culture. I want to see The Bahamas on a bigger scale when it comes to the music, when it comes to the people.”
