NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christmas is only a few weeks away and that means lots of purchases for shoppers from buying gifts to holiday travel.

And this year, vice president of operations at Nassau Airport Development Company Jonathan Hanna says due to high demand at Lynden Pindling International Airport, officials are working around the clock to make the passenger travel experience a whole lot smoother this Yuletide season.

And exactly how many passengers are expected to pass through the country’s main gateway?

He says a few seasonal flights will also return.

As for returning residents with lots to declare, Hanna says the recently launched Customs Exempt app is functioning optimally.
