NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Mammogram Access Program, founded by Nikia Watson, aims to make Breast Cancer screenings more accessible to the underserved in the community. 

Watson, noting that although family history increases the risk of being diagnosed, all women still face varying risk levels, as you age, your risk increases.

Medication that increases your estrogen levels also plays a role, however, there are factors within your control. 

Bone Cancer survivor and Disability Inclusion Consultant, Erin Brown commending MAP Bahamas for its initiative to support over 500 women inclusive of Family Islanders, pensioners, high risk patients and the disabled.
